Product DescriptionThis brand new Catback Exhaust Muffler for 00-06 Volkswagen Golf or GTI 1.8T Turbo is a great way to build horsepower, free up trapped torque, and improve upon restrictive factory systems. The straight-thru design piping, low-restriction mufflers, and tuned resonators of a well-designed performance exhaust system can make a world of difference on your vehicle. The net result is lower auto exhaust back pressure, more horsepower, more torque, and a much better sound. Professional installation is required to install the item with the stock catalytic converter! Your stock downpipe is welded to the catalytic converter. To install the this cat-delete downpipe to work with the stock catalytic converter, your muffler shop will need to cut the old downpipe just in front of the catalyst and the part of the new downpipe, and weld the rest of the downpipe in place.
